It’s taken a little longer than expected to reach this point, but I’m happy to report that Warden (Book 4: Roost of the Roc) is now published!
I have to give Amazon a bit of credit in that this one became available remarkably fast. I hit the “publish” button and then began working on a quick write-up about the release, and by the time I was done I believe the book was up on ‘Zon.
Anyway, as I think I previously mentioned, it was incredibly fun to revisit Errol Magnus and the world of monsters that he lives in. As usual, it gave me an opportunity to let my mind run wild in terms of adversaries for Errol to face.
Also, before anyone else asks the question, that’s a not a roc (which is a giant bird) on the cover. That’s actually my cover artist’s representation of an each-uisge, which is a kind of monstrous water horse that is particularly vicious. This is the first time in the series that the titular monster is not featured on the cover, but I think it works well in this instance.
Of course, writing this has made me eager to venture further into the Warden world, so I’ll have to work on fitting the next book into the queue at the earliest opportunity.
Finally, I hope that fans of my work will like the book as much as they have others in the series. With that in mind, I just want to say thanks to all my readers – and a special thanks to my supporters on Patreon.
