At long last, the audiobook of Conjuration (Kid Sensation #9) is available! (Yippee!!!) Some may recall that I held off on creating an audio version for a bit while contemplating what to do with my audiobook catalog.
Ultimately, I decided to stay with Audible exclusivity, and then began working on getting the audiobook for Conjuration done.
I’ve mentioned it in a couple of places already, but the turnaround on this one was pretty fast. In June, ACX/Audible committed to making submitted audio titles available within ten business days. Even counting the weekend, the time-to-retail for Conjuration was only four days. Four! Color me impressed.
Needless to say, I’m happy to have this one done. Listeners have been asking about it for a while now, so I’m excited about it being available. Unsurprisingly, however, it’s not showing up in the proper categories on Amazon. (It’s under something like “Sword & Sorcery” and “Wizards & Witches.”) This is a problem I’ve had before, but I don’t know why it’s so hard for Amazon to get it right. Apparently something in their system just goes haywire when it comes to my titles.
Anyway, as might be expected, I have promo codes that can be used to get a free copy of the audiobook. Those interested can get a code by clicking here. (Just FYI: they tend to go fast.) As always, I hope listeners enjoy it.
Overall sounds like good news, the Wednesday release was a bit odd & I would have missed it for another week without checking this. Appreciate the offer for an acx code, but an Amazon link would be helpful especially after that lead, I usually avoid ebooks but buying thru Amazon instead of audible gets both for a negligible amount and allows for reviews on both sites.
Either way I now have 7 hours to kill so thanks for staying in contact.

Now I see the problem, it’s the useless subcategory crap. Its tagged ya scifi/fantasy under sword and sorcery so it won’t show in genre browsing & the refine options tend to cause as many issues as it corrects and the link worked fine, just opened in a different browser.
Thanks again
They seldom get the categories right for me – not initially, anyway. In fact, I have a couple of audiobooks that have never been properly categorized; no matter how much I beg, plead, or threaten, Amazon just can’t get them right. (Even when they tell me “It’s fixed,” it isn’t.) Allegedly, your audiobook is supposed to dress off your ebook categories when it comes to this stuff, but I usually end up having to contact ACX/Audible and request that they add the appropriate categories. I’ve already done it in this instance, so we’ll see what happens.
