Happy New Year! Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Yuletide season and is looking forward to the year ahead.
Launching right into the topic of books, Ignotus (Fringe Worlds #3) is currently finished and in the hands of my editor. In the meantime, I’ve taken the liberty of making the book available for pre-order.
This one took much longer to write than I anticipated, but it’s a fun series for me. Amazon is showing the page count as 364, but – as usual – they have it wrong. It’s actually 465 pages.
For some reason they always mess up the page count, and it’s always less – never more – than the actual length. (I suppose it’s a lot like how grocery stores occasionally price an item incorrectly when you’re checking out, but studies show that the error is almost always in their favor.) Presumably, whatever algorithm the Great ‘Zon uses to estimate page length has a bug in it somewhere. The good news is that they always fix the page count when the print version is released.
Now, of course, it’s on to the next book, which is Isolation (Kid Sensation #8). Needless to say, writing Kid Sensation stories is always a blast (although challenging as well), and I’m confident that the story will meet reader expectations.
Anyway, I should get back to grinding on the next novel now, but since someone recently admonished me for it, I will try to reinstitute the lost art of posting regularly. (I’ll even make an effort of trying to have something worthwhile to say…) Again, Happy New Year, and I hope 2020 is everyone’s best year yet.
